Other Information about our community:

We are an old Railroad town that is completely surrounded by the Municipality of Monroeville. We are slightly over a half square mile but we have 13 liquor licenses.

We normally work one-man shifts with four 8pm-4am overlapping shifts. We, along with Monroeville, are part of the Gateway School District. We have our own municipal electric company and cable television company owned and operated by the Borough.

We use Eastern Regional as our Dispatch center and use Trafford, Monroeville, and Turtle Creek for mutual aid. We have three marked cars. We also have two bicycle officers in the summer.
