Other Information about our community:

Pleasant Hills Borough is located 8 miles south of the City of Pittsburgh along Route 51. Although we are primarily a residential community of approximately 3,400 individual residences, we have a business district of about 360 merchants.

Our department has an active Traffic Enforcement program, three Criminal Investigators, an outstanding D.A.R.E. program, Crime Prevention Unit and Community Oriented Policing mission. We are part of the West Jefferson Hills School District and share borders with Baldwin Borough, West Mifflin Borough, South Park Township and Jefferson Borough and have an excellent working relationship with these police departments.

In 1992 Chief Nevling brought our department on line with computerized record keeping and dispatching. Our department is not only progressive in nature but also pro-active in our efforts to provide the finest in protection and service to our community.
