Certification:	Bart has a K.N.P.V. 1 title from the Royal Dutch Police Assoc. He attained a certificate of metlaf, as a Royal Dutch Police Dog and is certified by them for life. Bart is a dual purpose police dog, certified for patrol utility and narcotics detection. He has received accreditation from the North American Police Work Dog Assoc. ( N.A.P.W.D.A. ) and Pennsylvania Police Work Dog Assoc. (P.P.W.D.A. ) in both patrol utility and narcotics detection.

Comments:

Myself and Bart have been on the road as partners since December of 1992. Bart has been directly responsible for the location of several burglary suspects and lost persons. He has indicated the presence of narcotic odors in numerous searches, resulting in seizures of cash and narcotics totaling well over $100,000.00. He has been a great asset to the Elizabeth Township Police Department. Myself and Bart have been active in the school district D.A.R.E. program and have gone to many groups to give K-9 presentations. Bart was put to sleep on May 30, 2000.  Bart is listed at the North American Police Work Dog Association.
