Other Information about our community:

The Borough of Baldwin was incorporated in 1952 and is located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh in the County of Allegheny. The Borough extends from the Monongahela River at the city line to South Park Township bordering Pleasant Hills, Whitehall, Brentwood, West Mifflin, and Bethel Park

There are churches of all denominations. The Baldwin-Whitehall School District is among the finest in the area and there are parks and playgrounds for all ages. Our community swimming pool is located near the Municipal Building and consists of a large swimming pool and a kiddie sprinkler area. Adjacent to the pool are baseball fields, a basketball court, and tennis courts.

Among the services provided are: two senior citizen programs, one at Lafferty Center on Joseph Street in the northern section and Leland Center in the southern section on Wolfe Drive; four volunteer fire companies; an emergency medical service; a public library is located in the Wallace Building located on East Willock Road and Macek Drives in the central section of the Borough.
