Braddock Hills is bordered by the Boroughs of Forest Hills, North Braddock, Edgewood, Swissvale and Wilkensburg. The two main roads of the early days are still the main roads through Braddock Hills, Brinton Road and Braddock Road, extending from Greensburg Pike to Hawkins Avenue (Wilkins Road). The first elementary school was located on the present site of the Braddock Hills Municipal Community Center (formerly Braddock Hills Elementary School). In 1981, a Federal Court order merged four school districts into the now Woodland Hills School District. Braddock Hills Fire Department is manned by dedicated volunteers. The residents are protected by full-time and part-time police officers who patrol the Borough roads. Braddock Hills Shopping Center, Brinton Manor Apartments opened in 1973 with 219 townhouse units and Brinton Towers opened in 1975, creating six story high-rise for Senior Citizens. Holiday Inn Parkway East was constructed. It contains 185 guest rooms, lounge, a restaurant, meeting rooms, pool facilities and a ballroom to accommodate 250 people.
